  Hi, all. I write this at 10:57 pm on Friday, with kazoo music still buzzing in my head (and the taste of Mel's Diner fries still fresh in my mind). Selling was a great time and a big success--sold enough kazoos to bug parents for miles around, enough peppermint pens to scent Christmas cards all over the area. I think my favorite random cool guy was the one who gave us two bucks and said to give the kazoos to the next two kids who walked by. It was really fun.

Next up: Open Door Mission, December 23rd. (Okay, technically, next up: Two Towers, December 22nd, but since, oh, all of three of you could come...yeah.)

Oh, and Melinda's informed me that she's going to be sick on Monday (no, of course there's no connection between Melinda being sick and King Lear being due for AP English!), so we'll have to have an assistant secretary kick in. Any volunteers? We're probably gonna need a non-hooligan...ooh. That leaves Bethie. 'Cause Katie's VP, and we don't have any other non-hooligans besides her and Bethie. Right.

Anyway, see you all then. Library as usual. And no field trips this time, thank goodness.
